Introducing the Sony ILME-FR7, part of the CineAlta line up, a Full-frame PTZ Interchangeable Lens camera with 15+ stop dynamic range, 4K (QFHD) high-frame-rate 120fps, Fast Hybrid & Real-time Eye AF, and S-Cinetone. This is essentially an FX6 camera on a lightweight remote head.
Native Sony E mount allows a number of lens options- though with particular limitations. There are currently three Sony Power zooms that run focus, iris and zooms with the RM-IP500 controller, the FE 28-135mm is the standard kit lens. Max lens payload is 5-6lbs, depending on the physical lenghth of the lens.
Chrosziel have developed a zoom motor that can enable other E mount lenses to be used, a firmware uprgrade in July 2023 will make this product active.
The RM-IP500 controller allows FIZ and color control for up to 100 cameras.
