Wireless In-Ear Monitor Transmitter for Large-Scale Productions
The Shure ADTQ is a four-radio rackmount transmitter for the Axient Digital PSM in-ear monitoring system. It sends digital stereo mixes to ADXR bodypack receivers from a single unit. Powered by Shure WMAS technology, each radio can carry up to four stereo mixes in Multichannel Wideband mode. As a result, monitor engineers can scale channel count without adding a transmitter for every performer. Expanded channel counts use Shure perpetual licenses, so confirm the configuration when you plan your package.
Five Transmission Modes for Any RF Environment
The ADTQ offers five transmission modes. Multichannel Wideband maximizes spectral efficiency, while Narrowband trades density for more RF output and range. SC Narrowband pairs fully digital efficiency with signal stability similar to analog FM. Additionally, Analog FM mode delivers ultra-low latency for performers sensitive to delay. Finally, Axient Digital Standard mode sends audio to any Axient Digital microphone receiver.
ADTQ Inputs, Networking and Antenna Combining
Eight switchable combo connectors accept analog or AES3 digital sources. Meanwhile, four Ethernet ports handle network control and Dante or AES67 inputs. Four coaxial RF outputs and optional internal combining reduce or remove the need for external combiners. For larger rigs, the Shure AD8C combines multiple transmitters onto shared antennas. Patented Spatial Diversity transmission also defends against multipath interference across big stages.
Remote Control for Touring and Broadcast Monitor Teams
ShowLink gives real-time control of every ADXR parameter from the monitor position. Wireless Workbench adds networked monitoring, and a 6.6-inch color display shows status at the rack. The ADTQ also encrypts its RF signal and tunes widely for moving between cities and festivals. It fits arena tours, festivals, award shows and broadcast IFB.
