1RU Intercom Key Panel for Tight Rack Spaces
The Riedel RSP-1216HL is a 1RU SmartPanel in the Riedel 1200 Series. It packs 16 hybrid lever keys into a single rack space. Each lever key includes a rotary encoder and push button, so users can talk and adjust level from one control. Therefore, the panel suits positions where rack space is limited, such as flypacks, OB trucks and compact control rooms.
RSP-1216HL Displays and App-Driven Workflows
Three sunlight-readable, multi-touch color displays show key labels and system information. Each key label supports an 8-character main label, a 16-character sub-label and icons. Additionally, Logical Groups let operators color-code keys or LED rings by department. The panel is app-defined, so users can choose a Talk/Listen or Talk/Mute workflow per panel. The intercom app requires the matching Riedel software license.
AES67 and Artist Connectivity
The RSP-1216HL connects over SMPTE 2110-30 (AES67) through 2 SFP and 2 RJ45 ports. It also supports AES3 connections to Artist matrix frames on RJ45 or BNC. Meanwhile, two analog 4-wire ports and three GPI inputs and outputs handle external devices. Two headset connectors and a threaded gooseneck jack support different operator setups. A DSP-controlled loudspeaker delivers clear speech at the position.
Compact Comms for Broadcast and Live Production
The RSP-1216HL fits camera control positions, graphics and replay stations and touring production desks. It offers the same connectivity as the larger RSP-1232HL in half the rack height.
