QSC TM16 TouchMix-16 Digital Mixer

E-CODE: W29A1-

Product Details

This mixer is for musicians, production professionals and live performance venues requiring the power and capability of a large “concert” mixing console in a compact, affordable and easy-to-use form. It satisfies demanding professionals, yet provides features to help the less-experienced user achieve quality results. Functions such as EQ, compressors, gates, and limiters offer a choice of Advanced Mode, offering total control over all parameters, or Simple Mode with only the most essential controls.

The mixer’s Channel Presets are not generic, one-size-fits-all; rather, experienced, live sound engineers developed a library of settings specifically designed for live sound reinforcement. In addition, the onboard Effects Wizard aids in selection and assignment of appropriate effects, while the Gain Wizard continuously monitors and displays input clipping. The TouchMix also includes a comprehensive library of complete Mixer Scenes; user scenes may be stored or recalled from either internal or USB memory, and the user may choose to include or omit main and auxiliary mix levels in scenes.

The TouchMix 16 is completely self-contained, requiring no external PC or video display. The color touch screen provides graphic display and control of mix parameters, which may be adjusted on the screen or via rotary encoder; hardware buttons also access or control frequently-used functions. An included Wi-Fi adapter allows control via wireless iOS devices with the Remote Control App, which controls all mixer parameters; no external network hardware is required.

TouchMix has ample stage monitor mixing capability and the ability to drive multiple, wired stereo in-ear monitors directly. The device can also record directly to an external USB, and tracks can be played back on the mixer or imported into most DAW software for over-dubs and post production. All inputs plus a stereo mix are created in 32-bit broadcast wave format.
