Immersive Audio Processor for Spatial Sound and Signal Routing
The L-Acoustics L-ISA Processor II Core is a multipurpose audio processor for object-based immersive mixing. It renders up to 96 objects to as many as 128 outputs at 96 kHz. The active output count depends on the installed license pack. Each object carries pan, width, distance, elevation and aux send parameters. As a result, engineers can place sources to match the stage picture for every seat.
L-ISA Processor II Core Inputs, Outputs and Networking
Inputs include 64 Milan-AVB channels, 96 MADI channels at 96 kHz and 2 AES/EBU channels. Outputs include 128 AVB channels, 32 MADI channels at 96 kHz and 2 AES/EBU channels. Additionally, the unit works as a matrix for direct routing without spatial processing. It converts MADI to AVB or AVB to MADI and multiplexes AVB streams. Milan-AVB primary and secondary ports provide network redundancy on dual etherCON connectors.
Room Engine, Show Control and Console Integration
The room engine creates virtual acoustic spaces with multichannel 3D processing. Meanwhile, spatial fills improve audio-visual consistency across fill systems. L-ISA Controller handles remote control, and DeskLink places object control on supported mixing console channel strips. The processor also accepts OSC for show control. PosiStageNet and RTTrPM support integration with performer tracking systems. Binaural monitoring lets engineers check an immersive mix on headphones.
