Product Details
16-Cell Full-Spectrum IP65 LED Batten
The Chauvet COLORado Solo Bar 4 is the mid-length model in the COLORado Solo Bar line: a 16-cell IP65 batten about 1.18 m long. It uses the same homogenized five-color cells as the Solo Bar 6 (red, green, blue, warm white and lime), with even color from edge to edge of each square cell. Rated output is 17,090 lumens. The shorter body is easier to handle and fits smaller stages, lower trims and tighter scenic openings.
Solo Bar 4 Output and Color
With no filter, the Solo Bar 4 has a 17.4° beam and a 38.8° field, putting 3,339 lux on a target at 5 m. The 50/50, cyc and stealth filters soften and widen the output, and the cyc filter spreads it to a 37.9° beam and 81.3° field for even backdrop coverage. CRI is 95 with color temperature presets from 2,800 K to 8,000 K. Dimming is 18-bit, and PWM frequency is selectable up to 25,000 Hz for camera work.
Control, Power and Construction
Control covers DMX, RDM, Art-Net, sACN and CRMX wireless, with 52 personalities from 1-cell up to full 16-cell control at as many as 259 channels. The fixture runs on 100-240 V AC and draws 370 W at 120 V, so three units link on a 120 V circuit and up to seven at 230 V. Power uses Seetronic Powerkon IP65 in and out, and data uses 5-pin IP65 XLR and an etherCON-compatible connector. The diecast aluminum body weighs 17.0 kg (38 lbs), with a GORE pressure-equalizing valve behind the IP65 rating. Integrated guide pins line up multiple units end to end in straight runs.
Mid-Size Washes for Stages, Studios and Events
The Solo Bar 4 works for cyc washes, stage-edge footlights, broadcast set lighting, theater groundrows and outdoor event facades. It also pairs with the longer Solo Bar 6 to build runs sized to the space. It operates from -20°C to 45°C. Our product experts can help choose the right mix of Solo Bar lengths for your set or cyc.
