The Misfit Kick is a versatile clamp on matte box for all types of filmmaking. An ideal alternative to the Arri LMB-5
This kit includes the essentials, with the core and two 4×5.65″ filter trays. To complete the system, simply add a Frame Safe clamp adapter to suit your lens- 95mm, 110mm, 114mm. The system is also compatible with our existing inverntory of Arri LMB-5 Matte Box Backs.
The Misfit Kick features an all‐new patented Reveal stage design, making it more robust and easier to operate in the field, converting from a 2‐stage to 3‐stage matte box without any extra hardware or tools, just a third filter tray.
Included in the kit is a 138mm Rotating Pola tray that also fits a 4×5.65 filter. The OneTray can also hold a +2 diopter of be used as a Variable ND tray.
Knurled, captive locking screws are used to secure filters in place, preventing screws from going missing while in the field.
