The Allen & Heath dLive S5000 is a medium-sized control surface designed for the dLive MixRack. It features built-in audio I/O and audio networking ports. With 28 faders over 6 layers and dual 12″ capacitive touchscreens, it offers an innovative Harmony UI for the fastest workflow in the industry.
Unlike other digital consoles, the dLive S5000 is a true digital native. Its interface feels familiar, drawing inspiration from smartphones and tablets. The capacitive touchscreens respond seamlessly to pinches, swipes, drags, and drops. Customizable widget areas on the screens help users monitor scenes, meters, FX, and other controls easily.
Surrounding the screen are one knob/one function rotary controls. These controls provide immediate and creative access to key processing functions. The rotary knobs have optimal grip and precision, developed through over 20 prototypes. They feature RGB illumination, with colors mapped to specific functions for quick visual orientation.
