The Allen & Heath dLive DM64 MixRack is a professional digital mixing engine designed for touring productions, broadcast environments, corporate events, houses of worship, and large-scale live performances. Powered by Allen & Heath’s XCVI Core processing platform, the DM64 serves as the central hub of a dLive mixing system, delivering extensive channel capacity, ultra-low latency, and flexible networking options.

With 64 microphone inputs, 32 XLR outputs, 128 input channels, and a configurable 64-bus architecture, the DM64 provides the processing power required for demanding live audio applications.

High-Capacity Mixing with XCVI Core Processing

At the heart of the DM64 is the XCVI Core, a powerful processing engine capable of handling up to 160 x 64 channels at 96 kHz. The system delivers 128 fully processed input channels, 16 stereo FX returns, and a configurable bus structure that can be tailored to each production.

Additionally, the XCVI Core utilizes variable bit-depth processing and a 96-bit accumulator to provide exceptional precision, low noise performance, and significant headroom. The result is a highly responsive mixing environment with just 0.7 milliseconds of latency.

This performance makes the DM64 well suited for concerts, theatrical productions, corporate presentations, broadcast facilities, and festival stages.

Flexible Control and Advanced Automation

The dLive DM64 MixRack can operate with a dLive control surface or function independently using a laptop or tablet. Because the processing engine resides within the MixRack itself, engineers can deploy compact, surface-free systems in fly-pack, remote production, and space-constrained applications.

The system also includes advanced automation tools introduced through dLive V2.0. The enhanced Cue List system simplifies scene management for theater productions and heavily automated shows. Meanwhile, the Actions feature allows operators to trigger multiple functions simultaneously, including routing changes, processing adjustments, and channel assignments.

Additionally, the expanded Channel Library allows users to save channel processing, sends, naming conventions, and color information for faster system setup.

Built for Large-Scale Production Systems

The DM64 includes three 128-channel expansion slots supporting Dante, Waves SoundGrid, ACE, and MADI networking. This flexibility allows seamless integration into complex audio infrastructures and large venue systems.

A preinstalled RackUltra FX card provides eight dedicated effects engines without consuming mix buses, inputs, or FX slots. Engineers can also access a variety of EQ models, compressors, reverbs, delays, and modulation effects directly within the system.

Dual redundant Surface links, redundant DX connections, and optional hot-swappable redundant power supplies enhance reliability for mission-critical events.
