Product Details

Dual-Sided Wash, Beam, Pixel and Strobe

The Acme Pulsar S2 is a compact moving head with two working faces on one head. The front is a zooming RGBW wash and beam. The back combines a high-output white strobe, an RGB pixel field and nine tight 10 W beams. Both sides can run at once, and infinite pan and tilt lets the head spin through looks a single-sided fixture can’t make. At 11 kg, it puts four effects in a body small enough to hang in quantity.

Pulsar S2 Optics and Output

The front side uses four 60 W RGBW LEDs for up to 4,400 lumens, with a motorized zoom from 2.5° to 28°. Variable CTO runs from 2,500 K to 8,000 K. On the back, 96 cool white 3 W LEDs in 24 zones deliver a strobe rated at 18,000 lumens. Around them, 108 RGB 0.5 W LEDs form 9 pixel zones with a 2,200-lumen output. Nine 10 W cool white LEDs add 3.5° beams for mid-air effects.

Control, Power and Construction

Four DMX modes (21+, 24, 39 and 97 channels) go from basic operation to control of every pixel zone. The Pulsar S2 accepts DMX512, RDM, Art-Net and sACN, with XLR and Ethernet data connections. Pan and tilt are infinite with 16-bit resolution and automatic position correction. Power is 100-240 V AC at 600 W through TRUE1-type in and out connectors. The housing measures 237 x 176 x 383 mm and is IP20 rated for indoor use.

Built for Concert Touring and Festivals

The Pulsar S2 suits concert tours, festivals, TV entertainment and large corporate shows where designers want one fixture to deliver washes, beams, pixel looks and strobe hits. A row of them gives a programmer several layers of effect from a single rig position. It’s an effects-driven fixture, though, not a key light. Our product experts can help plan Pulsar S2 counts and DMX layouts for your rig. Add the Acme Pulsar S2 to your cart to request a quote.
