The GroundControl® Ayrton DOMINO TC is customized to offer compatibility with the PRG GroundControl® Followspot System.
The PRG GroundControl® Followspot System gives a followspot operator the freedom to remotely operate a high output automated luminaire as a followspot from up to 2,000 feet away. Designers now have total creative freedom to put followspots in places that were either previously unusable or involved complex rigging. With the GroundControl (GC) Followspot System, the operator is located away from the luminaire, making the required physical footprint significantly smaller than conventional followspots. Because of this small footprint and low weight, followspots can now be placed in a wide variety of positions.
The Ayrton DOMINO LT is the first all-terrain LED luminaire in the LT (Long Throw) range designed for intensive outdoor use in long-distance applications requiring high precision.
A new member of AYRTON’S IP65 multi-function luminaire family designed for intensive outdoor use, DOMINO PROFILE is a marvel of technology that combines extraordinary light power with full-featured standard equipment.
The DOMINO PROFILE TC is specially designed for situations that require perfect color rendition, it will amaze color aficionados with its C.R.I. greater than 90 and extremely high TM30 readings, at a color temperature of 6000 Kelvin. Designed around the exceptional optics of HURACÁN PROFILE, this luminaire was specifically developed to achieve an optimal resolution-to-performance-to-efficiency ratio. These optics deliver an extremely uniform flat beam with no hot spot and reproduce high-definition images impeccably. Fitted with a 178 mm frontal lens, the proprietary optical system uses 13 lenses, producing a 10:1 zoom ratio and a zoom range of 6° to 60°. Designed to operate in the most extreme situations, DOMINO PROFILE TC can resist hot or cold temperatures, wind, rain, hail, salt fog, sand and dust. It can withstand arid environments, heavy rainfall, and sudden climatic variations.
AYRTON has included all the weatherproofing features of PERSEO PROFILE in this new IP65 luminaire and given it the same minimalist design.
With its new high-efficiency power supply and die-cast aluminum frame, the luminaire uses the same base design in a reduced visual footprint. For maximum effectiveness, the DOMINO PROFILE TC has a liquid cooling system fitted with six submersible fans outside its weatherproof enclosure. Feature-rich from the factory, DOMINO PROFILE TC includes a subtractive CMY color mixing system combined with a variable CTO and a wheel with six complementary colors. The framing section allows accurate positioning of each shutter blade on a 100% surface area. The image section includes 14 interchangeable HD glass gobos on two wheels. The effects section contains two continuous dynamic effect-wheels, a CMY multi-layered wheel for creating multi-colored effects, a standard monochromatic effect-wheel, a 15-blade iris diaphragm, two frost filters (one for light and one for heavy diffusion), two rotating prisms (one circular with 5 facets and one linear with 4 facets).
