DirectOut SC MADI Singlemode I/O Module

E-CODE: G5838-

Product Details

The MADI.SRC enables real time sample rate conversion of a complete
MADI stream (64 audio channels). The device includes 32
high quality stereo sample rate converters (SRCs), and supports all
source and destination sample rates from 44.1 kHz to 192 kHz, for
all MADI formats (48k/96k Frame, 56/64 channels, S/MUX).
Two pairs of MADI inputs and outputs are provided on optical connectors
(SC multi-mode) and coaxial connectors (BNC). In normal
mode, one of the inputs is active, with both outputs carrying the
converted input signal.
By activating the innovative Split Mode, inputs and outputs can
be used in combination to convert more than 32 (@ 96 kHz) or
16 (@ 192 kHz) channels, depending on the SRC setting.
Synchronisation may be achieved via Wordclock or AES3id (AES11),
Video Reference (PAL/NTSC), the MADI input signal, or using the
internal clock.
The device includes two phase-redundant power supplies; power
inlets and switches are located on the rear panel. The unit also features
a USB port, which can be used for remote control via Windows
software.
