Direct Out EXbox BLDS MADI Switch BNC/SC
E-CODE: L756L-
Product Details
DOTEC® EXBOX.BLDS is a MADI redundancy switcher for production environments with high demands on reliability.
In addition to the ‘simple’ switching between inputs – failure of a MADI signal – provides the EXBOX.BLDS a unique feature:
Buffer Loop Detection System ™
Improved signal control
The Buffer Loop Detection System ™ is used to detect silence or a corrupt input signal. For example, in the case of a program crash of an agent, where the contents of the buffer are rendered in an endless loop. Or when playback is too slow due to excessive system load of a playback computer. The BLDS generator creates a WAV file with a low gepegelten signal is inserted into the MADI signal.
The artificial structure of the ‘Buffer Loop Detection Signal’ enables reliable and inaudible switching within a sample.
Manual switching
The MADI input can warden also switched manually via a button on the front panel. Various redundancy modes (prioritization of the inputs) give the possibility to adjust the switching behavior of the EXBOX.BLDS.
GPI / GPO (General Purpose Input / Output)
About DSUB-9 sockets are 4 GPIs and GPOs 4 available. The GPIs are used to select the MADI input or changeover. The GPOs provide information about the currently used input and the switching status.
Customisation
The unit can via the integrated USB port with a new or custom firmware to be programmed. Remote control of additional functions is also possible.
Reliable
About Contact Reliability Hirose connections Up to two external power supplies or battery packs can be connected redundantly.
